Rasmus has studied chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, Aarhus University, since 2011 with a side course in Molecular Biology.
In the spring 2014 he started in Gothelf lab and obtained his Bachelor’s degree in the summer of 2014, with the title: “Synthesis of A New Isoindigo-Based Donor-Acceptor Polymer for DNA-functionalization”.
Rasmus continued in Gothelf lab as a Project Student and was mainly associated with the Organic Labs where he synthezised fluorene polymers for later DNA-functionalization. This project is a part of the “DNA Nanostructure” research for immobilizing conjugated polymers onto DNA nanostructures.
Rasmus finished hos Project thesis in July 2015 and has been a Master’s student in Gothelf Lab since August 2015.
