NEW PHD STUDENTS: Three new PhD students in Gothelf Lab

Congratulations to our three new PhD students who begin their PhD studies on 1 May 2015:

Line Debois Frejlev Nielsen:

  • Who will be working on the sensor project, DETECT, for detection of small molecules in blood, as well as continuing the synthesis of nucleoside analogues for templated oligomerization reactions. Line’s PhD studies are financed by the Innovation Fund Denmark.

Malthe Hansen-Bruhn:

  • Who will also be working on the sensor project, DETECT, for small molecules in blood. Malthe’s PhD studies are financed by the Innovation Fund Denmark.

Mikkel Bach Skovsgaard:

  • Who’s project is in the field of protein conjugation. His main focus is in the organic lab, where he is synthesizing small molecules for use in bioconjugation. Mikkel’s PhD studies are financed by the Lundbeck Foundation.
