GUEST STUDENT: Master’s student Gaurav Singhal from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India

Gaurav Singhal is currently (June 2015) an undergraduate in Chemistry Department of Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-B). He joined as an intern student in Gothelf Lab on June 1 2015.

He will be completing his integrated masters degree by 2017 from IIT-Bombay. At Gothelf Lab he is working in the organic lab on synthesis of template-directed covalent conjugation of DNA and protein with Mikkel Bach Skovsgaard.

In the past, Gaurav has done organic synthesis at an organic lab of IIT-Bombay where he tried to synthesize BOX ligands. He will be looking forward to pursue a PhD in organic synthesis in the future.

As hobbies, Gaurav loves playing and watching football.
